Building a PrintNC in Nepal
In 2021, I finally started building a proper CNC machine, the PrintNC V3.0. It’s got a cutting area of 1000 mm x 1000 mm, with Z travel of 120 mm. The spindle is a water cooled 800W spindle with ER11 collet. I originally used the standard breakout board for controlling the machine, with LinuxCNC, but I’ve recently upgraded to a Mesa 7i76 board. I post various things I make with this machine on my instagram: @yalacnccrafts

Door signs in hardwood
I do a whole bunch of carvings in hardwood with people’s names. These are used primarily as door signs, or decorations inside the house.

Large multi-layer MDF signs
Some of the pieces span the full cutting area, and require multiple layers for different colors.

Service 3
On the other end, its accurate enough to make small PCBs with high repeatability.
